This qualification is the first of its kind to address hybrid electric vehicles’ technologies. It is required to ensure the safety of technicians working on high voltage hybrid vehicles.
On successful completion you will gain an IMI approved Qualification which meets requirements (QCF) QCA I.D NO: 500/7055/1.
Who is the course suitable for?
This Award is designed for technicians who maintain and repair hybrid technology vehicles. It contains the knowledge required to work safely around a vehicles hybrid system, whilst carrying out repairs or maintenance.

No practical Exam, only theory exam.

The selection criteria for entry should take into account each applicant’s existing academic/vocational qualifications and experience.
Level 2: Individuals will already have vehicle maintenance and repair knowledge and skills at level 2.
